The tradition is...
On New Year's Eve, when the clock strikes midnight,
to eat a grape at each gong of the bell to
ensure good luck for the rest of the year
The process is
- Pop a grape in your mouth
- Chew, chew, swallow
- Repeat 11 times
- Take a long swig of cava
- Resume normal breathing

and moss and bark for building nativity scenes...
I've never seen so many nativity scenes, or "belens" as they are called in Spanish
even live ones!
